Borno State Governor Was Present At The Burial Of The 43 Farmers Beheaded By Boko Haram (Photos)

It was reported yesterday that 43 farmers were rounded up and summarily slaughtered by suspected Boko Haram members in Borno while the farmers were harvesting their farm produce.

 

The incident happened in Zabarmari, a community in Borno popularly known for rice farming.

Information reaching me now has it that the farmers involved in the sad incident yesterday which took their lives have been buried this morning, November 29th according to Islamic injunction.

I also learnt that Borno state governor, Babagana Zulum, was present in the funeral including other prominent people in the state to pay their last respect to the deceased.

It was indeed a black Saturday in Borno yesterday. May their souls rest in peace and may the Almighty God give their respective families the fortitude to bear these big lost.
